RESTAURANTS: KITCHENBAR celebrates fight night
Brooklyn gastropub KitchenBar (20th & 6th in Park Slope), who is reading a sister resto nearby called Public House, does double duty for its So. Park Slope residents. Yes, you can go get your drink on, and food too, but it serves also as a gallery for local artists. All displayed works are for sale with 15% of the proceeds going to Free Arts NYC, a nonprofit arts mentoring program. Kinda takes locavore to the next level, no? This weekend, they are hosting a fight night party. You can watch Mayweather and Hatton kick the crap out of each other (hopefully) while taking advantage of a great drink specal and maybe get some christmas shopping done too...and you are doing good things for the arts in NY. That calls for a drink!
