RESTAURANTS: DeMarco's Pizzeria Closed for good
DeMarco's on W. Houston St made headlines for two major reasons.
#1 -when it opened - The owner was the daughter of Dom DeMarco (of the famed DiFara's pizzeria on Ave. J). So no doubt the pizza was going to be good.
#2 -when it closed briefly in March when a crazy shootout went down.
DeMarco's reopened shortly after but the appeal was never quite the same.
Well the day has finally come...DeMarco's has shut its doors for good. This past weekend they served their last slice.
Very sad, because the pizza was good.
